Particularly it has developed the first 3D optical measurement system for continuous monitoring of steel wire or high resistance fiber ropes, capable to take continuously under control the dimensional parameters and the surface integrity from the manufacturing to the operating phase.
VisionTek is giving a substantial contribution to the opening new frontiers in the field of “Non Destructive Examination”, particularly in mission critical applications with high value ropes.
These 3D measurement systems are also applicable to undefined length objects produced by drawing, extrusion, lamination, molding, pressing of any raw material.
